Today was the first really cool day and until the wind takes the leaves away - the woods are absolutely spectacular.
But I need to pick a spring race, something to motivate me to push. I find myself walking, almost absentmindedly, when out with the dog without a training plan to follow. I guess its OK to have a bit of down time, but I don't want lose my hard-earned fitness base.
Ali and Boo carved pumpkins, but we had no Halloween trick-or-treaters on our dark lane. Just as well, as I'd have had to give them granola bars since I resisted buying candy.

Those are some extremely snazzy pumpkins - I can tell Ali's a teacher by that impressive display. She's definitely drawn a witch before..
Nothing wrong with taking a physical and mental break once in awhile. It's a good thing. Love the picture of the fall colors. Looks very much like my part of Oregon. Later!
Wow! great job on those pumpkins....I always end up making a lopsided smile with two choppy eye holes.
I'm getting so old... I don't do any of that 'fun' activities anymore. But it sure looks like fun!
I was able to see the picture of the Ghana coffins! That was interesting for sure! As for my own podcast? Doubtful! I do like my little comedy stint, though!
Toni - Love the photos!
It is certainly interesting for me to read that blog. Thanks for it. I like such themes and anything that is connected to this matter. I definitely want to read more on that blog soon.
