Nelly and I hopped on the train and took it up to the next town, Chesham, and then began exploring a new route as the rain started. The little scrap of map in my pocket started to fall apart in the rain, but finally we made it home and I was feelinq quite smug until I uploaded my track and discovered that somewhere I'd gone around in a circle and didn't even notice!!! Oh well..

9 miles in 2 hrs was not good but it was hilly and I did stop at every branching trail or stile and try to figure where I was. Billy and I will have to walk it with his Garmin or iphone and try to see where I went around twice!

6 weeks till the Swift half. I've booked camping at the Grouse & Claret campsite outside Matlock near Rowsley at Phil's recommendation - phone 01629 733233

I've lost 3 or 4 lbs since starting the Fast Weight Loss diet, but I'm ready to kill for oatmeal or bran flakes... I really miss breakfasts. Cottage cheese just doesn't do it for me, even with blueberries. And facing more salads with grilled chicken or tunafish, I keep repeating the mantra..... ONE MORE WEEK!

So you chose to do the Lyle McDonald Rapid Fat Loss instead of the Physique Transformation? Can you say why -- what you liked better about Lyle's plan? I'm trying to decide if it's worth the money. Since they're both into body building rather than running, I'm wondering how well they fit with being a runner.
Thanks!

Rev Tracy, I really think that Lyle McDonald has a broader scope than the physiquetransofmation people. I bought his Protein Book and there is a chapter on nutrition for endurance athletes. And his Quick Weight Loss book is available online for $10, instead of the $8/mo for the PFA programme.
Its tough, but somehow I can stick with a very limited diet if I know its not for long. Lyle has agree to be on RRT on July 15th, which will be great. Can you get to a computer at 4EST?

Toni,

How come I can't find it on his site at that price? When I go to buy the Rapid Fat Loss book (eBook) I get 3 or 4 other things and it comes to $34.95 -- and I can't delete those. It really irritates me.

Hopefully (I'll know next week), I'll be in a new job in DRC in July, so not able to get to a phone! But I get the podcast (I have a friend who downloads them and sends them to me on a disk!)
